Greetings, @clean2xtreme.
When you’re busy managing a business, accessing your QuickBooks Online account should be the least of your concern. Let me help you sort this out.
There are several possible reasons why you’re always prompted to reset your password every time you access your QuickBooks Online account.
- Incorrect username and password
- When accessing QuickBooks Online, make sure you’re using the correct username for signing into your account. It could be a unique username or one different from your email address.
- Ensure to use the uppercase key (Caps Lock) correctly in typing your password.
- Using the wrong URL
- Browser- Related
- It is possible that the web browser you’re using remembers your old or incorrect password.
- Login to your QuickBooks Online account using an incognito or private browser. Use either of the following shortcut keys:
- Google Chrome, press CTRL + Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox: press CTRL + Shift + P
- Internet Explorer: press CTRL + Shift + P
- Safari: press Command + Shift + N
- If you’re able to login successfully, you may want to clear your browser’s cache.
- Also, you can run the Browser Health Checkup Tool to check your browser’s health and its compatibility with QuickBooks Online.
If you’re still ask to to reset your password, I’d suggest contacting our Customer Care Team. An agent will be able to further help you via secured remote access session.
