I have just set up a new POS system with Quickbooks and realize that our receipt printer - Star TSP700II is not on the list and it is not being recognized in set up. Is there anything I can do to make it work as we are unable to get a replacement at this time.
Welcome to the QuickBooks Community, wlewiscga. That's a great question! You are correct in saying that the Star TSP700II receipt printer is not listed as a compatible device with POS. Currently, there isn't any workaround for this. I am recommending these articles, which include information about receiving a compatible device from us, a list of our approved third-party brands, and ways to install these drivers for Point of Sale.

I’ve looked online and most of the recommended thermal receipt printers are discontinued or reached end of life (EX:Star-TSP100 has been replaced by Star-TSP100III, Is there an updated list for 2020?
