Hi @okhen2014,
I appreciate you for reaching out to us here in the Community. I'm here to help you get rid of the error message when reinstalling QuickBooks Desktop.
This error usually happens on a workstation if there's an issue with a Windows user or third-party app. These programs could block processes you need to run Quickbooks.
It's also possible that the problem is related to the .NET Framework. For now, I recommend performing some basic troubleshooting to isolate and fix the issue.
Let's start by resetting the Internet Explorer settings. This helps ensure your QuickBooks can connect when performing the registration process.
Here's how:
If the problem persists, run the QuickBooks Install Diagnostic tool from the Tool Hub. This app helps fix common errors when using QuickBooks. Please follow these steps:
If you can't find the icon, search in Windows for QuickBooks Tool Hub and select the program (see screenshot below).
If the issue continues after following the steps above, please follow the remaining solutions found on this page (scroll down to Solution 3): Fix Error: Verify your subscription before installing QuickBooks Desktop.
For more information about the service discontinuation policy, as well as some answers to frequently asked questions about older, non-supported products, I recommend the following article: QuickBooks Desktop service discontinuation policy and upgrade information.
Please know that I'm just a post away if you need more assistance fixing the error message. Take care.
Afaik, they are not allowed to reinstall any outdated QBD Enterprise edition since 2020. Consider purchasing a new one time license for QBD 2021 Premier for 5 users and downgrade your file. Contact us in private for details.
Is Quick Books Desktop 2021 Premier for 5 users a one time license?.Are there no issues with downgrading?
You won't find the one time license option on their website
https://quickbooks.intuit.com/desktop/premier/
But you can purchase it thru a partner worth $2,100. Make sure to get the validation code as well or ask for the refund. You have to purchase a 3rd party service to downgrade your QB Desktop Enterprise file to QB Desktop Pro/Premier file. Contact us in private for details.
reinstall 2017 quick books
Pro/Premier or Enterprise? Any specific concern?

I can help walk you through installing QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) on another computer.
To start, make sure your computer meets the requirements so it will be compatible with QuickBooks Desktop 2017. Then, get your license and product numbers ready. Here's how:
1. Go to your new PC and install QuickBooks.
2. Once done, go back to the old one and create a backup copy of your company file.
3. Copy the backup file to your new one using a flash drive or other external device or through a network, if they're connected.
4. Then, restore the backup on the new PC.
To help you with moving this company file from your old PC to the new one, check out this article: Move your company files to another computer.

I'm having the same issue with the installer for 2015. I was able to reinstall 2015 on a Windows 10 machine back in December of 2021 using the downloaded installer I have on our fileserver. However now, 6 months later, I am unable to use the same installer file and license key to install it on another Windows 10 machine. The hardware that we currently have is old and is going away. We need to reinstall onto newer hardware but we plan to still run Windows 10.
The error that I get is that it cannot verify my subscription or license. I followed all the debugging steps I could from this URL https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/help-article/install-products/fix-error-verify-sub.... I would like to note that I am unable to perform step 6 because the website it references, https://ratable.qbdt.intuit.com, no longer exists.
Some digging into the installer log in my computer's temp directory found that the reason the license check fails, and I assume this is the same issue with 2017 that okhen2014 is having, is that the DNS record for ratable.qbdt.intuit.com no longer exists. I verified using public DNS checking websites that the DNS record for atable.qbdt.intuit.com does not exist anymore. To me that means that either someone make a mistake and removed that record from the Intuit pubic DNS server or it was removed because they decommissioned that server. Either way this is preventing anyone from reinstalling old desktop versions of QuickBooks.
I recently purchased a new computer. I currently use Quickbooks Enterprise 2021 and need to download it onto my new computer. I have license number and product number. Where can I go to download to my new computer?
