Join nowWe are using Square as our POS and my question is about syncing with QuckBooks. The cash payouts recorded in Square's cash drawer don't seem to sync over to Quickbooks. Is that true? Or am I missing them somewhere?
I can share some information about syncing QuickBooks and Square, @BlendLife.
You can integrate QuickBooks Online (QBO) to Square. It's a one-way integration that imports your sales transactions from Square into QuickBooks.
Once activated, the app monitors your Square account for all transactions, including sales, refunds, taxes, tips, and discounts.
QBO will automatically get your sales transactions processed through Square and will be imported as an invoice.

Thanks for the information, but I'm still looking for an answer to my specific question about payouts recorded in Square's Cash Drawer.
I don't see that they are synced with the rest of the transactions. Are they hiding somewhere or is it the case those payouts aren't synced.
Thanks for bringing this concern to us, so we can deal with this immediately, BlendLife.
Square put all the cash transactions into the Undeposited Funds upon syncing in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Then, you'll have to deposit them to your checking account from your Undeposited Funds account.
Since they aren't syncing with the rest of the transactions, let's try disconnecting and reconnecting your Square app. This helps us to re-establish the connection between the app and QBO. Then, try importing the transactions into your Online account again.
If the payouts recorded in Square's Cash Drawer still won't show up, I'd suggest reaching out to our Customer Support team. They'll pull up your account in a secure environment and help you with this one.
Here's how:
