Submitting rebuttals to Chargebacks

Does anyone have the email address for chargeback replies?  The links in the chargeback notices are useless, and the 'resolutions' page is anything but a resolve.  I have several chargebacks that I haven't been able to reply to because nothing works.

Submitting rebuttals to Chargebacks

We're here to make sure we'll be able to address your chargeback concerns as soon as possible, imanerd.

I know how you want this to be taken care of easily. Intuit works hard to investigate chargebacks and to assist our merchants in providing the correct information for any dispute. Usually, this happens for a variety of reasons such as a result of a mistake, fraud, or an unhappy customer.

All merchant rebuttals are reviewed by a chargeback specialist to ensure the dispute is properly addressed and remedied. That's why we're unable to provide an exact email address for chargeback replies. I suggest reaching out to our Merchant Services Team for any similar questions. They'll be able to guide you through the process so you'll know what to do. They also have the tools to pull up your account in a secure environment to double-check what's happening. For more information on how this is being handled by our team, please read this article for your guide: Handle Chargebacks And Retrieval Requests For QuickBooks Payments.

In addition, there may be instances where you want to void or refund your customer's payment in QuickBooks. I've added this article so you'll know the process: Void Or Refund Customer Payments In QuickBooks Desktop.

Let us know if there's anything that we can do to help you with the chargeback. The Community is always right here 24/7. Stay safe always!

Submitting rebuttals to Chargebacks

The statement that "All merchant rebuttals are reviewed by a chargeback specialist to ensure the dispute is properly addressed and remedied. That's why we're unable to provide an exact email address for  chargeback replies." - doesn't make sense.

If an exact email address or a link is not provided so the merchant can submit a rebuttal, then how does a chargeback specialist review the rebuttal to begin with?

I simply need a way, either in the form of a portal, a link or an email address, to be able to submit my company's rebuttal to a chargeback.

Also, I basically live in the Merchant Service Center and we have never had an option called 'Chargebacks'.

FYI - We are currently using the Desktop version of 'Intuit QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions:  Mfg. & Wholesale 20.0', and auto-update is always on.

Any help is appreciated.

Submitting rebuttals to Chargebacks

Thanks for getting back to us and providing additional details concerning rebuttals to a chargeback, imanerd.

To respond to a chargeback, we'll email you instructions and deadlines. This includes the case number, email address, fax number, and how to send your response. Please note that you won't have this option if a retrieval request came in before the chargeback and you haven't responded to the request by the deadline.

We also require you to reply with a letter that directly responds to the reason for the cardholder's dispute. If you need further help, you may consider reaching out to us again. This way, one of our representatives can provide you with details about this. Here's where you can contact us: Contact Payments Support.

Drop a comment below if you have other payments or chargeback concerns. I'll be sure to get back to you.
