We have selected the origin of our QBO in start by that time for Pakistan, however, our operations are in the US, and now we want to send invoices to customers directly from QB and also integrate with tax software ie, However, only US-origin QBO can send invoices directly to customers. How can we resolve this issue of changing the origin? I have raised this a few times earlier last year. One of your representatives mentioned that soon direct invoicing from QBO feature will soon be available in Pakistan-origin QBO also. Please let me know if you have any updates for us. Thank You
Why don't you switch to QBO US version and convert your data from QBO Global version?
@Chrea I had a conversation once here with QBO support, and they said automatic migration of data from Global to US origin QB is not possible, meaning it would be a manual exercise of migrating each transaction. Which is not an option for us, we have more then years of data on QBO.
Invoices can be sent from any QBO region, Kashif.
You can send invoices to customers from any QBO region. However, online payment processing is only available in the US. Here's how to create invoices:
Note that you cannot change the origin of your QBO account. Since your business operations are in the US and you wish to switch countries, consider creating a new account and choosing the US.
Once you have a new account, you can move your lists from one QBO account to another. For moving transactions, consider using a third-party application to assist you.
