Thank you for sharing your concern and providing a screenshot to help us better understand the issue of disabling the memo/estimate on statements in QuickBooks Desktop.
In QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), when you convert an estimate into an invoice, the memo field from the estimate automatically applies to the customer statement. Moreover, there is no option to turn off this transfer. As a workaround, you need to manually remove or modify the memo in the invoice tab to ensure it does not appear in the customer's statement. Let me guide you on how:
- From the menu bar, select Customer Center.
- In the Customer & Jobs section, locate and select the customer from whom you want to remove the memo.
- Double-click on the invoice to open the Invoice screen, where you can delete the memo in the MEMO field.
