Hi @cwright1,

Glad I stumbled on your post here.My colleague @Joesem M had already provided you the best solution to solve the issue.

Most issues in QuickBooks Online can be fixed by clearing the browser's cache. For further details I suggest to open the article below:

Delete or disable cache and temporary internet files in your web browser

For QuickBooks Online App:

  1. Click the Help menu at the top of the screen.
  2. Select the Reset App Data option on the drop-down selection.

Hi

Thanks - but that was not the problem as I am aware of this - it also was affecting the windows PC version - so was not the cache.

QB was temporarily down - but is up and running now

All morning I've been getting the message:

"Something's not right

We're working to get things back to normal.
Please give us a few minutes to fix it and try again"
when I try to login on my PC.

I have cleared the cache as recommended, yet this message continues to be all I get.

Hi

Windows version does not log on and web version is frustratingly slow

Assume it is a server issue at QB - please fix as this happens all too often

Hello there, @cwright1.

I'd like to ensure that you'll be able to log into QuickBooks Online successfully and be able to use the program smoothly.

If you've already performed the steps presented by my colleagues above, I recommend taking these performance tests for QuickBooks Online both in Windows and in the browser. This help fix issues while running QBO:

However, if the problem continues after performing these procedures, I suggest contacting our Customer Care Team. They have the tools that can better isolate this matter and determine its root cause. They can also generate an investigation ticket if necessary.

I'm also adding here some references that provide details about the usage and file size limit that may affect the performance of your QBO:

Know that you can always get back to this post if you have any other questions. I'll be right here to assist you. Have a good one.
