Updating recurring transaction

Previously when using recurring transactions, clicking save would update the template with the current values. This doesn't seem to happen anymore. You have to go edit the template. Is this feature no longer available, or is there just another way to do it that I'm missing?

Updating recurring transaction

Hi there @Scott Robinson ,

As of now, the option to upload customer transactions to a recurring invoice template is not available in QuickBooks Online (QBO). You’ll want to edit or create a new recurring template. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Recurring transactions.
  3. Click New to create a new template or select Edit under the ACTION Column to edit the template.
  4. Add additional details to the recurring invoice.
  5. Then click the Save template bottom when done.

You can also refer to this article for more details about recurring template: Create recurring transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, you can utilize these articles for future reference in case you need to import invoices and form style in your account:

In case you have other questions about managing your recurring invoices, you can always leave a reply to this thread. I’ll be around ready to help. Have a great day ahead!
