I have many warehouses and it is difficult to know where the item is located, is there any way to allocate each item to a certain where house so that when I make an invoice I can know where the item is located???

Hi M-Nabil,

The inventory set up in QBO is made simple for small businesses. For big businesses like yours, I would suggest finding a third-party app that is capable of handling inventories in multiple warehouses.

  1. Click the Apps menu on the left-hand side of your Dashboard.
  2. Search for something like inventory or inventory management.

If you have other questions about the inventory features in QBO, feel free to comment below.

Hello, M-Nabil.

You can locate the Apps menu at the left side portion.

Let me know if you need further assistance with your QuickBooks. I'm just a post away. Stay safe!

-with this third party I can manage stock adjustments and link it to Quickbooks online?

-also I have to enter all of my inventory from the beginning or I can share them?

Hello again, M-Nabil.

You can use this link to utilize a third-part app. Also, we can isolate this case using a private window to verify if this is related to your browser issue.

There are times that the browser stores frequently-accessed data, thus causing some errors or unusual behavior.

Let's try logging in to your QuickBooks Online account using a private or a different browser. Here's how:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + P

If you're able to view the apps menu, you'll need to clear the browser's cache. Clearing the cache or cookies is the best way to get a clean slate for your browser. Or you can use other compatible browsers. It could be that the one you're currently working on has a temporary issue with QuickBooks.

Let me know if you have any other concern in QuickBooks. I'm here to lend a hand. Stay safe!

@M-Nabil

Where is your company located? It is possible you are not using QBO US version. Login as the Master Admin and navigate to your Billing and Subscription menu. Compare the subscription rate to QBO US version.

The app I mentioned earlier does not sync with QBO's inventory management feature. Therefore your products in the app will not be synced with your products on QBO. Changes and updates to products on either end will NOT be reflected on the other.

Furthermore, products must be set with the 'Service' type in QBO. This lets QBO know that the inventory of these items is managed in the app. Assigning it as an 'Inventory' will stop the link between the two systems, which then basically makes QBO manage the stock of these items. Before syncing QBO to the app, you will need to make sure certain accounts exist in your account with QBO. These accounts are necessary for the app to push data into the right accounts.
