It does not help if their chat box support cannot solve your issue.

I don't have a contact number option on the help page. I called in to update our credit card info, but apparently it didn't happen. QB account expires on 2/29.
You have me to help you update your credit card information, casdrey.
When your account has expired, you'll be prompted to subscribe. You can click the Subscribe button and update the information. Let me guide you with these steps:
If you can't still update the information, you can give us a call so we can update it on our end. We're open every Mondays to Fridays from 6:00 AM PST to 6:00 PM PST. Then, until 3:00 PM PST every Saturdays.
Just a heads up, you'll not be prompted with the Start a chat or Get a callback options if it's beyond the working hours. This can be the reason why you don't see the contact number option.
You can follow these screenshots as guide on how you can contact us:
I've also added this article in case you want to view your payment history: View your QuickBooks Online payment history.
I'm sure you can now update your credit card information. I'm always around if you still need my help!

For your payroll reference, check out this article: Payroll 101. It contains more information about the different types of compensation as well as on what are the types of federal forms you need to file. Also, this will provide you a sample breakdown of a paycheck.
I'm just a few clicks away if there's anything else you need or if you have any other QuickBooks concerns. Have a good one.
