I'll give you the steps to attach the receipts based on the QBO app you're using, succulentbar.
If you're using the mobile app, you can take a photo of those receipts and add them to your transactions. Please take note that you can't add the receipt directly on the Banking tab. You'd have to add it to your Attachments list first before you can use it on the transactions.

Thank you for your response. The process you describe using the iOS app only uploads a receipt as an attachment to the attachment list using my iPhone. Once the receipt is in my attachment list what is the step by step process to get the receipt from my attachment list and attach it to a specific banking transaction? See attachment for example of where I want the receipt to land.
I'd like to provide you know what I know about attaching receipts using the mobile app, Succulentbar.
For now, you're unable to attach any files to a specific bank transaction using the app. You can only do this when you're using QuickBooks Online through the web.
