When does QBO Advanced do automatic backup?

I upgraded from Plus to Advanced yesterday mostly to backup my file before doing major COA revision. I selected complete and pushed manual. That was about 24 hours ago and it is still "queued". Can I stop it? Will it still do an automatic backup? When? What do you suggest I do?

When does QBO Advanced do automatic backup?

QuickBooks Online (QBO) Advanced automatically backs up your data several times a day, but the exact schedule isn’t visible since it happens in the background, congshirshalom.

QuickBooks automatically backs up your data when you enable the Online Backup and Restore app. This process cannot be paused or stopped unless you choose to turn it off. Please note that disabling this feature will permanently delete all previously backed-up data and remove it from your Online Backup and Restore subscription.

If you opt to temporarily turn off the auto-back-up feature and do it manually instead, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings,  then select Accounts and settings. You can also turn backup on/off when you go to Settings, select Back up company, and then Change backup settings.
  2. Choose Advanced, then select the Backup section.
  3. Switch off Turn on backups.
  4. Fill out the consent form, then select Turn off Backup.
  5. Select Save80.png
