I'm having the similar issue but I'm on 2023 desktop I've lost 15 years worth of attachments I've been on the phone for 2 weeks supposedly all the way up to tier 3 no one has been able to help me. A month and a half ago a lady in Kentucky did it in 5 minutes but they have no record of her calling me on that day? She was amazing I wish I would have got her direct number! I need some help if anybody has any knowledge of this please please help me

You can open you company file with attachments on March 5, correct? Can you still open the file with attachments on the same computer now?
Intuit QuickBooks keeps on putting on here that the problem is solved it is not please ignore the solved green prompt. This is still not solved I need someone's help please
Did you ever get an answer to this. I've spent over 98 hours on the phone with QuickBooks in the last week and have 15 years worth of hard copies attached to my customers and invoices. I'm in desperate need of help
I am having the same problems I am beyond frustration over 98 hours in one week on the phone with them trying to get my attachments reattached for 15 years it is ridiculous the amount of technical support that level 3 actually has absolutely zero

This method does not work as I've been trying it for weeks with people on the phone with QuickBooks it is ridiculous you pay a subscription and nobody in tech support on level 3 knows what they're doing except one lady that I found in Kentucky and I wish to God I knew her name
That's a complete joke or having the same problems exactly! 98 hours on the phone with QuickBooks and still not resolved this is incredibly supposedly I got up to tier threes technical support and they can't figure it out unbelievable 15 years of invoicing down the drain
We move QuickBooks to a new computer/server when we did that we lost all the attachments. They are still in the computer as we did a backup but they have tried every which way to attach them and they can't figure it out.
I had one person tell me I'm just going to have to manually scan each one in for 15 years this is just unacceptable. In fact we don't even have the files to scan in this is 2,024 people go paperless I'm so beyond frustrated

Yes we did correct the problem with no help from QB. I asked my son to look at it and he figured it out, we had lost them I think when we did and upgrade to newer version of QB and lost all the attachments.I am not very computer savvy myself, not sure if it is the same problem but I will ask him, it was something to do with the newer version was looking for the files in a different location or file name, it has been sometime since I posted I was feed up as you are with the help I was getting. Not sure he will be able to help you or not, but I can ask, if you want to send me an email out of this chat my email is [email address removed] and we can discuss further.
