Cancellation of QB Payroll Annual Enhanced

I cancelled this subscription (see attached).  Why was I sent the email pasted below charging me for the subscription that I cancelled?  Please reimburse my credit card if I was charged for this subscription today!!

Safety and security of our customers’ information is our top priority. I'm unable to request the sensitive information required to pull up your account and look at billing in a public space like the Community.


For this reason, I recommend contacting our QBO Care Team. They can look into this further and provide detailed information about the charges.


Here’s how to reach them:

 

  1. At the top bar, choose the Help menu to open the Contact Us link.
  2. Enter contact support in the field box and then hit the Let’s talk button.
  3. When the Choose a way to connect with us window, select how you want to reach our support: Get a callback or Start messaging.

Please keep in mind you a have read-only access to your QuickBooks Online data for one year once you cancel the subscription. For more information about the cancellation process, check out the following article: Data availability.

I want to cancel my enhanced payroll subcription.   keep gettting error messages.   Credit card payment went through and I thought I had already cancelled.

Encountering errors when doing QuickBooks Online (QBO) tasks can be sometimes caused by a piled-up stored cache and cookies on your browser. To resolve this, let's access your QBO account using an incognito window. Private mode prevents storing cache and web history to avoid issues when running websites. Below are the shortcut keys you can use: 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N 
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

 

Once signed in, cancel your Enhanced Payroll subscription again. If it works, you have to clear your browser's cache to have a clean slate. If not, I recommend using another supported browser

 

Also, to further assist you with this, I highly recommend reaching out to our Payroll Support team to cancel your subscription and check your account status. Pulling up your account requires some personal info which we can't do here in the Community due to security reasons. To connect with them, please refer to these steps:

  1. Go to Help.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter a brief description of your concern. Example: Cancel Enhanced Payroll subscription.
  4. Then, select Let's talk.
  5. Choose either Start a chat or Get a callback.
