Hello, Treasures Of The World.

I understand the importance of having an invoice template with a second logo that allows you to hide the parent logo. Currently, this option isn't possible yet.

You can create a separate invoice template with a different logo as a workaround. Then, manually select the template when invoicing your customer. I'll show you how.

  1. Go to the + New icon.
  2. Select Invoice.
  3. Fill in the necessary information for your invoice.
  4. Click the Customize button, then choose the invoice template which has the correct logo.
  5. Once done, hit Save and close.

Our engineers never stop enhancing our product. I encourage you to submit your suggestion by clicking the Gear icon and then selecting Feedback. They'll review your request and, if approved, will add it in a future update.

In addition, I've included this article about recording invoice payments for future reference: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.

Parent company name still shows up on emailed invoices.  Emailing invoices is really the fastest way to get paid.  I really need this feature to add DBA and hide parent company name.  Please!

Customers don't recognize my parent company name and think they are being scammed when I invoice them with your software.

Welcome to the Community, @Waldo313.

I'd be glad to help you add DBA and hide the parent company name in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

We can add this feature by adding a new location in QBO. Here's how to do it.

  1. Go to Settings ⚙, then choose Account and Settings.
  2. Tap Advanced.
  3. In the Categories section, hit the Edit pencil icon.
  4. Tap or turn on Track location
  5. Hit Save, then Done.

Here's how to create a location:

  1. Go to Settings , then click All Lists.
  2. Choose Locations.
  3. Hit New, then add the Name of the location you want to track. Then choose the option "This location has a different company name and communicating with customers" and enter the DBA.
  4. Tap Save.

Thank you for joining the thread, @Kate B.

Would you mind telling me if what you mean is a recurring template or an invoice template? As well as, can you include a screenshot?

Never hesitate to route back yourself here for additional questions about transaction templates in QuickBooks Online. I'll be happy to lend a hand.

As example, I created two invoices templates. In first template I added Product and payment information - my account in Bank "A" (routing number, account number). In the second template I added Services and payment information - my account in Bank "B" (routing number, account number). When I selected "Done" the bank information changed in bouth templates as in the last templete that I added. I need two templates with different bank information. How can I do that?

I see you want to create two invoice templates with different bank information, @Kate B. I'll explain how it works in QuickBooks Online.

QuickBooks will use the details from the most recently entered template. That explains why the latest template ( Bank B ) you added has caused the same changes in both ( Bank A & B ) templates.

The feature mentioned above is currently unavailable in QBO. I recommend providing us feedback about it. I'll show you how:

  1. Click on the Gear icon, then select Feedback.
  2. Type in your product suggestions.
  3. Once done, hit Next to submit feedback.

This will then go to our product engineers to help them enhance your QBO experience. Additionally, you can keep track of request updates by visiting our webpage: QuickBooks Online Feature Requests.

Lastly, I've added these helpful articles about personalizing invoices and handling customer payments.

Creating a second invoice in QB with another logo

I, too, have two businesses that I needed to create invoices with the two separate logos and company information displayed on the invoices. I went through these steps to create the 2nd location, and that worked great. I tested being able to select the "new location" aka 2nd business when creating an invoice and see that I'm able to do that.  All is good.

The issue I'm having is this: When I created the new invoice template with the 2nd business logo (this worked-saved) and return name/address, but when I edited the return portion on the NEW 2nd invoice template, it overrides that same return address information on my 1st/Main business invoice template.  I tried to switch it back on the invoice template for the 1st business, and it overrides that same return address on the 2nd business invoice template. It doesn't seem like you can have 2 separate return addresses on the templates, unless I'm doing something wrong. Can you help me with solving this?

Thank you for choosing QuickBooks Online, Dvernier.

I hear you and realize the importance of having an invoice template with second business addresses with QuickBooks Online. Allow me to provide additional insights into this concern.

Currently, this option isn't possible yet. There's only one shipping address per customer profile, but you can change it on the Invoice transaction page when you ship items to a different address.

You can have more than one QuickBooks Online company (account) to add a new business address.

You can have multiple company subscriptions in Quickbooks Online and have as many QuickBooks Online companies as you'd like. Each QuickBooks Online company you create requires an additional subscription.

Our engineers never stop enhancing our product. I encourage you to submit your suggestion by clicking the Gear icon and selecting Feedback. Then, enter your suggestion and click Submit. They'll review your request and, if approved, will add it in a future update.
