Currently, you can't accept credit card payments without an owner's name even if it is a non-profit organization. I recommend listing down your principal officer on the account to serve as the main contact for a bank account.
Here's how:
1. Click the Gear icon, then select Payroll settings.
2. After Bank accounts select Manage payroll principal officer information.
- The option to Connect your bank account should be visible.
3. Click Edit to change principal information.
4. Choose the reason for the change from the dropdown.
5. Make any updates that are needed. You can change this:
(Name, Mobile number, Date of Birth, SSN, and Personal Address.
6. Once done, select Save. A verification code will be sent to check the principal changes. Once made sure, changes will be applied immediately to the account. For changes and verifications, we'll contact you and get more information.
If you have a QuickBooks Payments account and the primary principal officer of payroll was changed to a different person, this will only apply in payroll alone. if you need a new principal for payments, you might need a new QuickBooks Payments account.
