Customer Refunds using QuickBooks Payments

I processed a customer refund using the Transaction Receipt window on the Payment window.  The original receipt was on a credit card received as a QuickBooks payment.  I inadvertently refunded the customers full amount and it should have been only a partial refund.  I went into the manage account for QuickBooks Payments and the transaction is pending but it will not let me reverse it.

Any solutions other than ask the customer to send the money back.  Thanks in advance for your input.

I appreciate you reaching out today, CharlieDunn. I know how crucial it is for you to reverse the transactions and process the correct amount for a customer refund. Let me share more inputs about this process.

Since reversing the refund transaction is not available, your only option, for now, is to ask your client to send back the excess amount. After that, the fund will then be added back to your bank account. If your client gives you a check, deposit the amount to your designated bank account.
