Deposits taking too long

Let me provide you with details about the deposit speed using QuickBooks Payments, mark392.

As a new business, your initial batch of payments may take up to five business days to deposit. This is a standard part of the account setup process. Once your account is fully established, deposits will be processed more quickly.

In addition, the deposit time also depends on the type of payment you receive. Manually entered ACH payments may be subject to delays due to additional security checks. To reduce this risk, we recommend collecting ACH payments from Pay-enabled invoices. For credit card payments,  they have their own deposit schedule. If you process a credit card payment before 3 PM PT, we deposit it into your bank account on the next business day. If you process a credit card payment after 3 PM PT, we deposit it into your bank account within 2 business days.

For detailed information about deposit speed in QuickBooks Payments, refer to this article: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.

On top of that, if you want to process your deposits much faster, you can consider getting instant deposits. This feature lets you request funds and receive them in your bank account in under 30 minutes, or you can set up automatic instant deposits.
