Error message when I try to charge a credit card. "OAuth error - 2000" What is the problem? How do I fix it?

Thanks for joining the Community space, @drjeff1. I'm here to help you fix the OAuth error - 2000 in charging a credit card.

The Fix OAuth 2.0 errors make cause during the authorization flow when connecting to your app. If your using third-party payments, I'd suggest contacting the Intuit Developer Support Team. They can check the error message and provide troubleshooting steps to get this resolve.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Intuit Developer Support.
  2. Choose your product.
  3. Click Ask a question.

I'll be adding this article about OAuth2.0 errors: Fix OAuth 2.0 errors and connection issues.

However, if your using QuickBooks Payments, I highly suggest contacting our Merchant Support team. They have tools such as screen-sharing (remote access) that can pull up your account securely and check the cause of this odd behavior. They can also perform other troubleshooting steps if necessary.

To reach them, you can refer to this article and proceed to QuickBooks Desktop with Payments section to get their most updated contact information: Contact Payments or Point of Sale Support.

Additionally, I've also included this reference for a compilation of articles you can use in tracking your deposits in QuickBooks:

Reach out to me if you have any other concerns or questions. I’ll be right here ready to answer them for you. Have a good one.
