When I send invoices from Quickbooks Desktop, a pay now link is include with the invoices. However, when I send a Finance Charge invoice, those do not include a pay now link. How are customers supposed to pay both the invoice and the Finance Charge without a pay now link?

The first thing you can do is ensure the online payment option is active when you send out an e-invoice. Review these payment options next to the Your customer can pay online using section.

Ryan,
I appreciate your response, but you seemed to fail to understand the problem I have. I alreday have a quickbooks payment account. When I send a regular SERVICE invoice, the invoice is sent with a pay now link. Customer can EASILY pay that invoice. The PROBLEM is that when I send a finance charge invoice, a PAY NOW link is NOT included with those. How do I get a pay now link to be send with Finance Charge invoices?
Hi there, Dimples.
Allow me to step in and share some information when sending an invoice.
Currently, the Pay Now button for invoices with a finance charge in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) is not available.
On the other hand, you can let your customer pay through ACH payment, or by cash.
Then you can manually record the payment, here's how:

I have this same issue and it seems pretty ridiculous that just because an invoice is a "finance charge" that it doesn't have a pay now link. Surely this is just a step that someone in the Quickbooks software overlooked. It's quite embarrassing to tell a customer that they have to use some other means to pay a late fee. They typically then just don't pay it and we either have to make the customer mad by insisting they pay the finance charge some other way or we lose that money.
