When you sign up for QuickBooks Payments, you can accept credit card, debit, and ACH bank transfers for the transactions you send to your customers.

Here's how to sign up through QuickBooks Online:

1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
2. Go to the Gear icon and then select Account and Settings.
   
3. Choose the Payments tab.
4. In the QuickBooks Payment section, select Learn more. 
5. Ensure all the necessary details added are correct.
6. Click Get set up or Set up Payments.
   

After that, this opens a signup window with three sections:

1. In the Business section, select Start. 
2. Fill out the form and tell us about your business. When you're done, select Next.
3. In the Owner/Proprietor section, select Start. Fill out the form and then select Next.
4. If you're approved for both QuickBooks Payments, you can skip to step 5.
5. In the Bank section, select Start. 
6. Choose Add new bank account and search for your bank.
7. Select the account you want customer payments to go into. 
8. Enter the sign-in info you use for your bank. Then select Connect.
9. When you're finished, select Activate Payments.

You can also use other platforms. Once done, you'll get an email about your enrollment in a few business days. 

When you're approved, your QuickBooks Payments account connects to the platform you signed up from.
