A few months ago I upgraded our merchant services account to pay a little more to have our payments deposited next day. Mainly because since updating to QB2020, we have had SO many issues regarding payments. Today, none of the payments from yesterday have been deposited into our account. Any explanation???
Allow me to share with you some information about payment deposit schedules, windylou.
QuickBooks Online (QBO) with payments is currently the only product offering faster funding. For QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) with payments, typically it has 2-day funding for ACH and credit cards. But the clearing of funds depends on your bank. When Intuit gets word from your bank that the deposited funds have cleared, the status changes to Funded.
You can go to the Merchant Services Center to see and verify when a deposit was made. You can also check your deposits for the previous month. To do this, follow the steps below:
In addition, if you process payments before 3 pm Pacific Time, normally they should be in your bank account in 2 business days. However, if you process payments after 3 pm PT, we'll start the deposit the following business day.
You can also check out this link for more information about getting an instant deposit in QuickBooks Desktop.
For your reference, you want to read this article for more information: Add And Match Bank Transactions In QuickBooks Desktop.
Fill me in if you have additional questions about deposits. I'll always make sure to get back to you if you need further assistance.
@MariaSoledadGthank you for completely useless info. You obviously have never used Quickbooks.
Hi there, windylou.
Thanks for stopping by the Community this afternoon. I see that you have next day funding. If you're still waiting on the deposit, I would highly recommend reaching out to our merchant services support team, they can look into your account and see where the snag is. To reach them, you can check out this link, fill out the required information and an expert will connect with you.
I'm also including a handy article for you to check out at your leisure, it highlights the Merchant Service Center and how to access it.
If there's anything else I can help with, feel free to post here anytime. Thanks again and have a nice evening.
Actually, @Nick_M and @MariaSoledadG There is an issue WITHIN QB. Windlou is well aware of it.
Those of you working for Intuit should pay attention and do your research, instead of just assuming the customer doesn't know.
I wanted to post the results of my conversation with Operational Support today. They reported a computer glitch caused payment delays for over 120k customers. They are resolving it and expect funds to be deposited in 1-2 hours. They said anyone affected should call or reach out via the chat function on your desktop or online dashboard and speak to operational support so they can make sure you are added to the open investigation. I hope this eases anyone affected’s minds :)
