my fund is missing

My merchant account was closed by Quickbooks and they decided to release my fund to the State after holding my fund for 270 days. I have checked the State unclaimed property website for a month and I couldn't find any fund under my name. I tried to contact them online but the chat just never connected.

I'm wondering what I should do now?

I've got your back to ensure you can contact our merchant support team, @sharonlinyic.

For queries regarding your account, it would be best to get in touch with one of our representatives. They have the necessary tools to check it securely and give you more details about the missing funds.

Also, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re running with a significantly reduced staff. Thus, you may experience delays in chat requests or call response. To ensure our support team can assist you on time, I recommend checking out our support hours guide.

When you're ready, here are the steps that you can follow to proceed:

  1. Click the Help (?) menu at the top, and then select Contact Us.
  2. In case you're routed to the QB Assistant page, type Contact Us and then choose Talk to a human
  3. Choose the Never mind option, and then select I still need a human
  4. Click the Contact Us button.
  5. Enter your question or concern on the search box like "Merchant account's missing funds."
  6. Click Let's Talk.
  7. Pick either the Get a call or Start messaging option.
  8. Fill out the needed info, and then select Confirm my call or Submit to continue.

my fund is missing

I had a chance to chat online with several agents for almost 3 hours and the answer I got is the contact my local state commerce. They refused to give me any contact info.

I googled the contact of the local state commerce, there are several results. I've tried some of them and apparently, they are all wrong. Now I feel someone just throw my money into the ocean and told me it's in the ocean, you just need to go find it.

My client and I trust you to manage our money and I don't think it's responsible to treat our money like that.
