PayPal discontinued announcement

Notice they give you a ton of info, with no link to comment or ask questions - and do not gie you the explanation of - WHY? This disruption in our service is obviously something that will benefit Intuit

Why are you removing PayPal....not making enough money on transactions?

Glad to have you here, @DGgps,

I want this addressed properly. Our Payments Team recently discontinued the PayPal Beta integration. As a workaround, our engineers are proposing the new beta program for PayPal on e-Invoices.

This is where you can send invoices and allow your customers the option to pay you through their PayPal account. See this article for more information: PayPal on e-Invoices FAQs

You can also check our apps website for more options to bring in your Paypal transactions into QBO. Click this link to our website: Paypal Apps.

Please update this thread if you need further assistance in the comment section below. I'll be more than glad to provide additional help any time.

@Chance

For the time being, utilize the 3rd party connector

Hope it helps.

Are customers going to be notified of this change? I don't want a bunch of people emailing me asking where the PayPal option went. Hopefully Intuit will be proactive and notify customers who have paid with PayPal before. I have quite a few customers who pay with PayPal. I don't know how this is going to go over with them.

Hello there, @smwalsh.

In QuickBooks, the PayPal button for e-invoices is introduced as a Beta feature for selected customers in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Sometimes beta testing disappears or becomes live features. At this time, we are working on making sure the feature is best for you and your business.

For more insights, you can check this article:  PayPal on e-Invoices FAQs
