QB Desktop 2019

We have a small business and are attempting to set up so we can receive credit card payments. We have QuickBooks Desktop 2019 version and are running into errors. Is it still possible to set this up in 2019 version? Or is that obsolete?

Thanks!

QB Desktop 2019

Setting up QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) 2019 to receive credit card payments is no longer an option, @Making Grade. We will provide more details below to give you insights and resolve your inquiries.

Please be aware that the version you're using has been discontinued. Consequently, features that require internet connectivity, such as accepting customer credit card payments, processing payroll, and accessing other online services, will no longer be available or functional. However, you can continue to use the program for recording purposes.

For more details about what will happen to the obsolete versions, please see this page: QuickBooks Desktop 2019 service discontinuation policy.

To navigate this situation, consider backing up your company data, upgrading and restoring it to the program's latest version. I recommend visiting this page to learn more about the capabilities of the upgraded version: What’s new in QuickBooks Desktop 2024.

In addition, here's an article to help you deal with bank transactions seamlessly in QBDT: Add and match Bank Feed transactions in QuickBooks Desktop.

We're ready to assist if you have other QuickBooks-related inquiries or require a helping hand performing a task, @Making Grade. Let us know in the comment section so we can respond promptly.
