Buy nowHi all, I hope some of you can help me.
I've been using qbo for a few years and have not had this issue as follows.
I usually record a payment from my connected bank and match it to an invoice, and after that the income changes on the dashboard page. The other day I received a payment in the usual way and the income didn't increase. I have since had a few more, and they didn't increase it either. Can anyone tell me why and how to make it alter the income.
I've been scratching my head for 3 weeks and can't find anyone on here with this issue.
Thanks
James
Hi there, jimmy. I appreciate you for reaching out to us.
I understand how important it is to manage your cash flow in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Let's verify that your bank statement and the transaction in QuickBooks Online have the same record. It allows you to determine whether there are differences between your bank statement and your transactions in QBO, resulting your income not reflecting changes.
Let's begin by running the Invoices and Received Payments report. Here's how:
You can check out some of the links I also included. These will display every report available in QuickBooks Online and show you how to modify it:
Please get back to the thread if you have further concerns about your bank transactions in QuickBooks Online. I'm always here to help you. Have a great day, jimmy.
If you aren't seeing your income increase, I would look at the products/services on the invoices. Are they mapped to income accounts? If so, run a P&L report to see if the income is changing there. I don't always trust the dashboard.
