Get 50% OFF QuickBooks for 3 months*
Buy nowHello! I use the Batch Edit feature for invoices with QBO Advanced every month. I edit hundreds of invoices with this method each month and wouldn't be able to do it otherwise.
This month, for some reason, this functionality has broken for my company.
QBO only displays 'Something's not quite right. Please retry.' when I try to save invoices with batch edit. I have tried different web browsers with no change, and I have tried batch editing different invoices, one or two at a time, and just retrying the same edit attempt constantly.
Please help! I really can't think of anything that's changed in our set-up from last month, yet this feature doesn't work, and the error message displayed doesn't give any explanation at all as to what the problem is.
Thank you for posting to the Community, @codydales.
I understand what you've been doing, like running QuickBooks Online in other supported browsers to fix this error. To ensure you're taken care of, I suggest contacting our Care Support team to investigate this error.
They have the advanced tools to pull up your account in a private and secure session.

did you ever get it fixed? I am having the same problem
Hello there, Sdreier1.
Let’s work together to resolve your issue effectively.
To begin, may I ask if you’ve tried any basic troubleshooting steps yet? If not, I recommend performing some troubleshooting to determine if the issue is browser-related and to address it accordingly.
You can start by logging out of your account and then signing back in to refresh the system. If the issue continues, try accessing your account using a private or incognito browser. This mode avoids storing internet data and can help address temporary problems. Another option is to switch to a different compatible browser to ensure everything runs smoothly.
If the issue still persists, you can contact our live support team to further investigate the issue.
Here’s how:
1. Click the Help menu or the (?) icon in the upper-right corner of QBO.
2. Go to the Assistant tab.
3. Type "contact support" in the chat box and press Enter.
4. Provide a brief description of your concern and click Continue.
5. Choose your preferred option. Have us call you or Chat.
Let us know if you have additional concerns about QuickBooks. We’re always here to help.
