I am right there with ya. They have FAILED TO resolve our payroll updates and now our clients are 4 weeks with no ability to run direct deposit. They close cases with no communication and leave us on the phone for over 2 hours each time, which costs me time from my other clients. They waste time and do not know what they are doing.

Can I still join?   I am forced to pay 6 times more for the software and it's now a subscription.   If you don't pay, you can't get your information.  I pay a lot for assisted payroll.  Have been with them for 20 years.

I would be happy to join and I will join under my company and my clients companies!  I have 20 accounts under my practice.

Intuit is lying about processing times constantly and they hide behind terms and conditions.  They sell their product under "x" and never deliver.  Their average time to deposit money is no where near the time they actually do!

Somehow a QB Payments account was set up for my client without a bank account.  I did not set it up and my client did not set it up.  I am not a part of my clients company.  The QB Payment account had my social security number, my address and I was listed as a principle for the company.  This account had my client's birthday and email address.

Two payments were made totaling $1900.  I must have called ten times and got the runaround every time.  I was told the money would be in the account 7-10 days, 4-5 days and next day.  They even did the test payments for her bank.  Payments were never made.  I finally credited back the payments but I was fearfull they would take the money out of her bank account earning them another $1900.  I ended up doing credit the clients through payments.  I must have called at least 10 times.  I closed the account but my social security number is still floating around in that payments account.

Has that happened to anyone else?

We have medical distribution company where they did the same to us and their answer appears to always be 180 days (6 months). Federal statutes only allow 2 to 6 days without them providing exceptional reasons and those have to be sent in writing itemized out. They will tell that 180 days only applies if no one contests the charges. But they will also tell you to have the person that paid you to contest the charges. Hence, you see the picture here even if the payor contests it will permanently put hold to where they keep the money because someone contested.

They anticipate small companies will not have the funds to go head to head legally. They already lost an FEC Class action on their deceptive Turbo Tax product. It is a habit of this company. Key file emergency injunctive relief and a judge can sign off on immediate release of funds. If they do not they are then violating a court order. In addition, file suit alleging all these facts. A judge will certify the class especially if enough people are filing against them. We are in this process now. Also contact your state attorney general and file a complaint to have the states start going after them. Further I got an immediate response from their Office of the President when I filed a Better Business Bureau Complaint against Intuit, Inc in California. They called me in less than 24 hours. I highly recommend everyone begin filing BBB complaints to lower their scoring and alert the public to avoid them. They froze over 150,000 of our funds.

Client of ours is having similar issues updating their details so they can get money.  They (fortunately) don't have any money trapped with them, but will be advising them to ditch Intuit and go with another credit card processor.  Good luck with the lawsuit.
