Class Action Lawsuit against Intuit. I am currently collecting names and business to file a class action lawsuit. Email me.

I'm over a $1million in losses since October 2022 when Bank of America pushed us out of Intuit Online Payroll services and dump our data into QBO online,  Ever since we have been trapped and unable to migrate our desktop for Mac version with the QBO online payroll data.  We had there teams work on in provide a 50% discount for one year to give them time to work on it and find a patch.  They absorbed company after company knowing the companies would not be compatible without significant engineering to change and merge those services.  It was impossible resulting in the engineers removing us as admin by mistake which prevent anyone from going in and making the admin changes needed.  We ended up closing one company entirely from breaches starting in October 2022 and are on the brink of dissolving our lead organization all from this push from hard desktop copies of software to subscription services forcing companies into and the dependency of these services without the adequate safeguards for small businesses.  We will lose over $17million when this is all over and we close our doors for good.  Nice going QBO.... way to screw over the small businesses that are the backbone of this country because of your incompetence we have Gove from 22 employees on payroll to "0". So Yes Please add me to this lawsuit and please add both of my companies who have suffered greatly. submitting all of my refund requests so let see what they say.  Not to mention we have advance and elite services and we have had so many tax penalties from QBO not filing the taxes and have seen reimbursement for those fees either like they say.

I'm not sure who is heading the campaign for class action however, I was just denied a refund for the fees for the online subscription services being contested.  During migration I was asked to create new profiles open the subscription so they could work on fixing migration issues.  We then closed down the other profiles however still have not received the refunds and now they are being denied all together from their email respondent.

What is your email address, Quickbooks has taken out more payroll tax than it has logged in my history and talking to the support is completely useless. I would like to join a class action lawsuit. I am sick of these useless money grubbing scum.

Not sure how this is going...but we've had horrible problems with them filing our state reports correctly then getting them rejected. Then they don't correct them when we tell them how they messed them up. It has caused us mountains of headaches and penalties and interest they will not address. I am sure we aren't the only ones. They are not providing the service they are paid to do.

I will join the lawsuit. I will also help coordinate with many other QB Intuit users I know of and coordinate with other forums (such as Reddit) to get more people. This seems like a massive issue.

Intuit QB is holding my $20k. They shut down my account ~a month ago for "business reasons" and wont clarify why. Prior, they were asking for documentation, and we submitted everything timely. At NO point during the last 6 weeks did someone from Intuit call me (I'm the business owner), other than a salesman to upgrade my account. I was told by representatives twice that I'd receive a call back, never did.

They are telling me:
1) they don't know why the account was shut down

2) all requested paperwork has been submitted

3) "60-90 days PLUS" for funds to be released, and they confirm "plus" could mean over a year

4) there are no further steps I can take to get funds released

5) the reps I talk to, and me, have no way of communicating with the team who release funds

You can add another massive number of people to this lawsuit for everyone who uses TD Bank and hasn't been able to access any banking information since April 2024.  It's just an endless cycle of lies and misdirection.  QBO is perfectly happy to keep taking our money in fees every month with nothing to access.

It is obvious they are guilty of conspiring with the other software makers to steal from the general public with ridiculous fees and subscription. It is also obvious this online software is the absolute worst software that Intuit has ever put out. It doesn't work and it's designed by IT guys that have no clue how to do bookkeeping. This is a pile of stank. No other way to say it? Bull____ So yes, I would love to join a class action lawsuit against these criminals.

It's more disheartening to see Quickbooks employees acting nice and demanding you be civil to them when they are the getaway drivers of a bank heist. YOU ARE ALL GUILTY!!! Enron hid it better than you losers.

Hello,

In March of this year while attempting to file my taxes, I was informed Desktop Pro 2020 would no longer work with Turbo Tax. When I called Intuit Quickbooks I was to told not to worry, if I sign up for QBO I will be able to transfer my files. That was not true. I continued to use QBO since I was also told my Desktop would no longer be supported. Within a couple of months I found a random charge on my checking account from Intuit. It was not taken care of despite the numerous phone calls I made, and promises the reps continued to make, so I was forced to get my bank involved.  I asked them to file a claim on that one charge. Unfortunately, without my knowledge or permission, my bank filed a claim against all of the Intuit charges on my account, including the QBO subscription I paid $505.53 for in March. I called my bank immediately, and informed them I never authorized this action. They reversed the claim, and then Intuit cancelled my subscription. I have literally spent hours, days, and months on the phone. Not one single advisor has been able to help. I asked to escalate the call last week, and the person I was transferred to completely blew me off like everyone else. This was the "escalation team"....Yesterday, I was on the phone for hours once again, and was told my account had been "flagged" as if I am a criminal. My account will not take a payment to update the subscription. I have tried myself, and the advisor I spoke to yesterday tried two credit cards and my bank account with no luck. I was told I will have to pay almost double what I paid in March to get my account back. I am still waiting on a call back from the advisor I spoke with yesterday, but unfortunately based on every single experience I have had with this "support" team, I do not expect a call back. It is 4:07 p.m. and still no call. My account sits in limbo despite the 20 years I have supported Intuit Quickbooks and Turbo Tax. With my time being spent on the phone with this "support" team the last 8.5 months has been an absolute waste, and I have lost business in an already tough economy. It is disheartening and disturbing that such incompetent individuals have access to millions of financial records. I received another tip today to reach out to the Office of The President and did so. This was the first time I have received an immediate response. We will see what happens.

You can use the trial version of QB Desktop Enterprise to export data from QB Desktop 2020 to TurboTax. You don't need to convert data to QB Online.

We are so beyond this at this time, but thanks for your input. Had an advisor known what to do in the beginning I would not be in this situation now....I have been so far mislead it is unbelievable and incredibly disturbing.

The issue has been escalated, so hopefully it really is addressed correctly this time....but now I wait....again.

I contacted a law firm that previously successfully sued Intuit/QuickBooks/Turbo Tax in a class action. There are public records if you're wanting to do the same, but for their privacy, I will leave that for you. They were very interested in moving forward with these allegations/stories of funds on hold without cause, solution, or timelines ("sixty to ninety days plus" does not constitute a reasonable timeline of course, "PLUS"). However, after I contacted an array of federal and state consumer protection and banking agencies about this, along with BBB and California (IIRC, where Intuit is HQ'd) state's attorney general office, I got a call from Intuit's "president's office," and they stayed after hours to release the funds that night and I saw it in my account the next morning. I had to submit some basic documents like my DL, articles of incorporation, and proof of address occupancy (things I think* one of my employees already submitted 2 months ago, but regardless, such items shouldn't take "sixty to ninety days plus" to resolve, and especially not clearly request from you to resolve the issue).

They sure moved fast with me and sent my money back. I clearly told them multiple times that I am not the one to do this with. I gave them deadlines that they broke, and I clearly told them what I was doing if those deadlines were broke, but they must not have believed me. Also, after they sent my money back, I had several reps calling me back, who previously failed to do so despite giving concrete times that they would. I think Intuit's legal team reviewed all my calls and was cleaning up.

I have no longer participated in providing information to that law firm. I do have plenty of saved calls across ~6 QB reps who answered the same questions with the same coached answers; mind boggling answers implying a potentially indefinite hold of funds can occur, for no concrete reason stated, with no solution offered, and no communication pathway to the team that controls releasing funds. Ironically, one of the lawyers I spoke to had this happen to his cousin, who reached out to him about it. This is a huge problem it seems!

My issue was taken to the Office of the President and my account was fixed within a week, so in this case "escalation" was everything, it just needed to be escalated to the right department.

They honored the price I paid in March. Since I had to pay the full price at the time of resubscription, this part worried me, but they reimbursed me the difference like they said they would. It takes a lot to get help from this company, but I am happy they finally followed through. Everyone should be taken care of like this, it shouldn't take "escalation" to get the help we deserve. Hopefully Intuit QB will start making some progress in customer service rather than going backwards in this area.

I want to join in this as well.  We had a hacker get into our account online. Yeah they are really secure.

Hacker got over 27K on the payments side. No money except for a huge processing fee was taken out of our account UNTIL about 25 days later and they started pulling money out of our account without any notice or authorization! They nearly wiped us out!  Now they are wanting over $20,000.00 more! Its Criminal what they have done to me. I have filed with the FBI and NCDOJ and filed an event report with my local authorities.

I'm leaving them soon and going to ZOHOBooks.

This statement is not true at all!

We'll evaluate the payments if QuickBooks detects anything unusual, which puts the deposits on hold. And whenever a problem arises, we'll email you about it.

A hacker stolle on the payments side over 27,000.00 and now they want me to pay for their mistake.

The cloud is so unsecure. It is criminal what they are doing to me

Migrate to ZOHOBooks before they scam you out of money!
