Join nowI want to start working as a freelance bookkeeper but I have several doubts as I am going to access my clients' books weekly how am I going to enter bills and invoices? say for example a sale took place on Monday but I access my clients' books on Friday so do I need to educate my client on entering invoices and bills himself? or do I need to ask him to keep track of all the invoices and bills so that I can create them on Friday?
A warm welcome to the Community, YasminHussain.
You can ask your client to enter the invoices and bills himself and review the transactions when you accessed their account. However, if you need to ensure that the transactions are accurate, ask your client to keep track of them and record them accordingly into QuickBooks on Friday.
