Join nowI have assisted payroll. All of my IRS quarterly and year end forms are filed by QB.
I will soon need to make a payment to IRS for taxes. I have not had to do this before.
Does my company already have an EFTPS login thru QB or do I need to go on and create my own login?
Hi Diane628,
Thanks for raising your concern on our page. Let me provide some information so you can pay your taxes to the IRS.
You can check the enrollment status of your EIN/Company first to make sure you already have EFTPS. You can use this article for the contact information: Enroll in Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS).
You can also follow the instruction on that article on how to enroll EFTPS if you don’t have it yet. Since QuickBooks handles payroll taxes and filing for you, it'd be best to reach out to our Payroll Support Team. They can provide additional information and assist you further with this matter.
Here's how:
I added this article to help your filings much easier in the future. You can use this as a guide to the process and print different tax forms: Process, print, and save QuickBooks Desktop Payroll tax forms.
This should get you moving today, @Diane628. Just let me know if there’s anything else you need, I'll get back to you.
When you use Assisted payroll, you don't have to pay the taxes. Intuit does that for you. They already have your money, which they take as you send each payroll. Then when it's due they sent it on for you.
