Join nowI use Intuit Merchant Services (credit card processing). I use it directly through the website; I don't use it through Quickbooks Desktop nor Quickbooks online. I need to contact support. The person I am chatting with says my problem can't be done with the "chat" team, and only the telephone team can help me.
That agent told me to call the main number at ***-***-***. I have done that FOUR times and can not figure out how to talk to a person. After the stupid computer asks me irrelevant questions, it keeps telling me to do it online (through Quickbooks, which in my case is not associated with my Merchant account) and that I can not reach a person if I stay on the line.
Any suggestions?
Hi there, @TaxGuyBill.
You can contact them through chat by this time. You can reference this link for more details on how you can message them with or without using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online. Contact Payments or Point of Sales Support.
When you're having issues with reaching them through the phone because your QuickBooks accounts weren't linked to Merchant Services, you can reference these articles to link the Merchant Services account to QuickBooks:
Once done, you can call them through the phone. You can also unlink the account once you have reached them and resolve your concern with Merchant Services.
Additionally, you can reference this article for a list of articles that you can read on Merchant Services frequently ask questions like funding status and managing payments account: QuickBooks Payments FAQ.

Seriously, the only way to talk to somebody on the phone is to set up something that I DON'T want? You have GOT to be kidding.

I am beginning to wonder if this company is run by humans at all! cannot speak a human being at all.... will tell as many people as I can NOT to buy this product!!
Any specific issue? Do you wish to use QuickBooks Payment or else?
I am one day late to submit the company PAYROLL to intuit. What can I do now?
Hello @mab756ser,
Welcome to the Community. I can share some information that will help you with running payroll for your employees.
Since you missed the direct deposit deadline, I suggest paying your workers with paper checks. This way, they'll be able to receive the payroll on time.
Here's how:
As long as there are no changes to the employee’s profile, the direct deposit payment method will resume on your next payroll.
Also, you might want to consider requesting a faster funding time for your employees. Please note this is still for approval and you'll need to submit the requirements along with your request. Intuit View or change your direct deposit funding time.
You can also check the articles for more details about processing payroll, like what you should do if a worker didn't get the funds on payday or if you missed a payroll in QuickBooks:
Drop me a comment below if you have any other questions regarding running payroll. I'll be happy to help you some more.
Quickbooks sucks, find a different service
I have the same question. When they first set up, they had a human but now that they've sucked everyone into buying their product, no human to talk with. I think it's back to a bank credit card terminal for us.
I called the 800 number and though I've done business with Quickbooks since 1998, they still don't have our business number associated with the account, so there's no way to bypass the computer and we're shuffled into the desktop queue....
Consider another payment processor to integrate with your QB. Many options in the market.
Need help! Signed up for Quickbooks payroll and was initially fine, with a few glitches. Got those resoled. Now, 2-years later I'm having employees come to me telling me that Quickbooks is not taking taxes out of their payroll checks. I need to talk with a live person. Today been on hold all afternoon and still waiting. I need this fixed.
We all know that employees are entitled to federal taxes, @957446. I'll help you figure out of the taxes aren't deducted from their paychecks in QuickBooks Online Payroll.
Employee state withholding taxes are calculated based on the income or setup. With that, I'm showing you the step to review their status and check your employee's tax setup:
Furthermore, I'll route you to the support for more assistance.
