I'm glad to help you set up invoices so you can keep bank transfers enabled by default. We can modify the invoice template and un-check the payment method so your customers can only use bank transfers when paying their invoices.
Here's how:
1. Go to the Gear icon at the top.
2. Under Your Company, select the Custom form styles.
3. Find the template, then click Edit under Action.
4. Click the empty box beside the Bank transfer option.
5. Hit Done.
I've added these helpful articles for future reference. This is on how to let the customer pay their invoices online:
• Take and process payments in QuickBooks Online
• Add or modify the accepted credit card types in QuickBooks
If you have any clarifications or questions about QuickBooks Online, add a comment below and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Have a good one.
Hi, @ian-bendcalibrat.
Hope you're doing great. I wanted to see how everything is going about setting up your QuickBooks Online (QBO) to only accept ACH payment you had yesterday. Was it resolved? Do you need any additional help or clarification? If you do, just let me know. I'd be happy to help you at any time.
Looking forward to your reply. Have a pleasant day ahead!
Hello, I am attempting to set this up to ONLY receive ACH payments and not enable credit card payments as we are charged a fee. When I follow the process you list QBO does not have the payment tab option as in the picture you posted any suggestions. It seems I cannot just select only ACH transfer. Thanks in advance
I'm here to help you accept ACH payments only, sbrn329.
The steps mentioned have recently undergone revisions, which is why you don't have this option on your QuickBooks account. Below, I have included the updated process.
For more details about receiving funds, please see this article: Take and Process Payments in QuickBooks Online with QuickBooks Payments.
Moreover, I've added an article that can help you find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments: Deposit Speed.
Please keep us posted if you need additional processing payments in QuickBooks Online. We're always here to help you out.
