How to remove the Pay Invoice button on PDFs in QBO?

And, they will hold the money for a few days, generating interest revenue for them. It is absolutely messed up.

 

I remove the button manually with a PDF editor.

Open the invoice.

Go to the Gear, Manage

Go to Payment Options

Uncheck all the boxes

Ladies and gentlemen,  a year later and this crap went back on by default after having turned if off a year ago.

Since QB is pretty much the only game in town for small business, and they know it, they keep pulling stuff like this.

I totally agree. After all this time and the pay button started showing it's ugly blob on my invoices. When a customer (a national bank) tried to use the button they went down a rabbit hole and couldn't process payment. Now we're on the phone trying to make this work, back and forth, taking time out of our day to come up with a solution. 

 

All I want is a basic accounting service to run my business. I don't want a loan, I don't want my employees giving themselves an advance, I don't need insurance, and I don't want to relearn how to use "improvements" that keep changing taking up my valuable time. We should be getting consultant fees while intuit uses it's customers as
