I need to store the error that QBD sent back when I tried to Void/delete a transaction in QB using QBXML <TxnVoidRq>.

I need to store the error that QBD sent back when I tried to Void/delete a transaction in QB using QBXML <TxnVoidRq>. In <TxnVoidRs> when error is thrown there is no reference for the original request. No request Id of Ref. How do I know which error is for which Invoice/Transaction Id?

Following is the example Response -

<QBXML>
<QBXMLMsgsRs>
<TxnVoidRs statusCode="3000" statusMessage="The given object ID "568abcd" in the field "Transaction id" is invalid. " statusSeverity="Error" />
<TxnVoidRs statusCode="3000" statusMessage="The given object ID "569xyz" in the field "Transaction id" is invalid. " statusSeverity="Error" />
<TxnVoidRs statusCode="3000" statusMessage="The given object ID "567qbdf" in the field "Transaction id" is invalid. " statusSeverity="Error" />
</QBXMLMsgsRs>
</QBXML>

Hello, Aradhana!

I appreciate your effort in explaining your concern in detail and for including the script errors in your post. However, I'm going to route you to the Intuit Developers Community about this matter since they are more equipped with answering questions about voiding or deleting a transaction in QuickBooks using QBXML.

Here, we can help you with product-related concerns, but not on topics related to programming or anything pertaining to developers' discussions.

 1. Follow this link: https://help.developer.intuit.com/s/
 2. Select QuickBooks Desktop.
 3. Click Ask a question.

You're welcome to raise other concerns, or if you need help with posting a question in the Developers Community. Take good care always!
