Is there a way to use your Gmail address to send customer statements in QuickBooks Online?

Quickbooks Online currently allows businesses to connect their Gmail account to send customers invoices from a Gmail address instead of [email address removed].

I am not seeing the same functionality for customer statements.

Could someone let me know if there is a way to do that? If that functionality doesn't exist, how should we request it to be added?

Thank you!

Is there a way to use your Gmail address to send customer statements in QuickBooks Online?

Thanks for sharing this idea, Mike. I know how essential this functionality is as this can make things even faster and easier when sending statements to your customers.

Although this option is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online, you can send a request or feedback directly to our product developers. This way, they can further review which parts of the program need enhancements and consider adding them to future updates. I'll show you how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and click Feedback.
  2. Provide your feedback or product suggestions.
  3. Click Next to submit.

You can also utilize our Customer Feedback page. This also includes the status of your request. I just want to let you know that future feature releases will have to undergo extensive measures and trials to validate their usage and effectiveness. That said, we're unable to provide a timeframe to when this will be available.

Furthermore, feel free to check these links to help you manage your statements and other sales forms in QBO:

Keep me posted if there's anything else I can help you with. I'll be around whenever you need additional information, Mike. Have a good one!

Is there a way to use your Gmail address to send customer statements in QuickBooks Online?

Currently, there is no way to use your Gmail address to send customer statements in QuickBooks Online. However, there are a few workarounds.

One workaround is to download your customer statements as PDFs and then email them to your customers from your Gmail account. To do this:

  • Go to Sales > Customers > Statements.
  • Select the customers you want to send statements to.
  • Click Create statements.
  • Select PDF as the output format.
  • Click Download.
  • Open the PDF statements in your Gmail account and send them to your customers.

Another workaround is to use a third-party email marketing service to send your customer statements. To do this:

  • Create an account with a third-party email marketing service, such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact.
  • Import your customer list into the email marketing service.
  • Create a new email campaign and select your customer list as the recipients.
  • Attach your customer statements to the email campaign.
  • Send the email campaign.

To request that the functionality to send customer statements from a Gmail address be added to QuickBooks Online, you can contact QuickBooks Online support and let them know of your interest. You can also submit a suggestion through the QuickBooks Online Idea Exchange.
