Hello,
I do have QB Desktop 2020 and was trying to register a payment I made to a vendor using Zelle. In the vendor's pay bill window, I only have the option of register payments with a check or credit card. Please advise. Thanks

The Community has your back, @Mavilan.
Here's everything you could ever need to know about recording a vendor payment through Zelle in QuickBooks Desktop. You can select any of the payment method (check or credit card) options that are showing up upon paying your vendor. After that, you may add a Memo to the bill indicating that it was paid through Zelle.
You're bill will now look like this after adding the Memo:
Know that being able to select Zelle as the payment method in the system isn't available. However, our developers are constantly working and considering new features to be added to the program. This way, we can cope with your business needs.
You can always visit our Firm of the Future site to be updated with our product road-maps.
I'll be around to help if there's anything else that I can assist you with. Have a good one!

Hi @BettyJaneB,
I did it a bit different, I paid the bill and then matched the transaction downloaded from the bank, and wrote QCKPY in the field check number, as it was suggested in a related post.
thank you so much for your answer,
Mariale
A better way to do so is to change the Payment method. Record the transaction with any payment method then go back in to the transaction and click on "Payment method" At the top will be a "Add New" click on that and add Zelle. Now when you do any other transaction you'll be able to mark it as being paid by Zelle
I have desktop, I tried to do that and it wouldn't let me. It would not let me change the method from credit card, only the TYPE of credit card.
So frustrating.

Having said that, let me make it up to you in the Community space. The recent screenshot that was shared above is for QuickBooks Online. This is the reason why you're unable to change the payment method.
For now, we can only select Check, Credit Card, or Schedule Online Payment when paying a bill.
