I am using QBOnline and it is currently taking about 8 business days to receive ACH payments. The help line has tried to say its my bank, but Wells Fargo processes in 2-3 days, they then tried saying it must be my customers bank, I personally know other contractors using QBOnline who have billed the same customer and received payment in 2-3 days. I've talked to enough of QB's support staff to know they are reading from scripts and after insisting on those two possibilities they just give up. It takes about 5 days for QB to even send me the "Money's on the way" Email. I am not a new customer and this issue has been the same for every ACH payment over the last year. I think something is just messed up in the setup of my merchant account, but no one at Intuit QB seems to even want to consider that. Any help out there?
Hello, @Dswope1348.
It's nice to have you join us in the Community. I'm here to share some information on how QuickBooks Payments works.
Generally, if a customer made a payment through a credit card, it takes 1-2 business days to reach your bank. However, bank transfer (ACH) payments can take 2-7 business days. These also vary depending on the following factors:
Since it's beyond the usual deposit lead time, I'd recommend contacting our Payment Support. They can check the status of the transfer and give more details about it. Here's how:
Also, to learn more about the next-day deposits, you may check this article: Next-day deposits for QuickBooks Payments. On the other hand, you can also check this article for more information about QuickBooks Payments deposits: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits your money.

Know that we're always here if you have other questions about ACH payments. Stay safe!
"We deposit most credit card, PayPal, Venmo, and ACH payments next day.
If you process customer payments before 3 PM PT, we'll deposit them in your bank account the next business day. If you process payments after 3 PM PT, we'll deposit them in two business days.
If you're brand new to QuickBooks Payments, your ACH payments will take a bit longer during your first month. You'll get your payments within 5 days for the first 1 to 4 weeks while we set everything up. We'll send you an email once everything is set up to let you know your payments will process at the normal speed."
I have been waiting on that email for over a year, my inactive QB self employed account on the other hand keeps getting that email even having been inactive for over a year. I think wires are just crossed
I am having the same issue with my qb and the poor customer service that comes along with it. Way too many holds on funds. I’m loosing out on business and trust when this happens and they don’t care.
Thank you for reaching out, @PME2. I appreciate your patience, and I'm here to help clarify why this might be happening and how we can address it together.
The processing time for deposits in QuickBooks Online can vary depending on the product used and the type of payment. For standard deposits, processing occurs daily except for certain holidays. Instant Deposits are available every day throughout the year. Factors such as the payment method chosen by your customer, the approval processes of your bank, and the specific dates transactions are deposited significantly influence the timing required for funds to appear in your account. You can refer to this article to know more about this: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.
Also, funds get on hold due to one of several reasons, such as risk assessment, unusual activity detection, verification processes, regulatory compliance, or unusual volumes of transactions. These measures are in place to safeguard the integrity of transactions and prevent fraudulent activities.
If your transactions consistently check out without issues, I recommend contacting our Payments Support Team. They are highly knowledgeable and equipped with the right tools to help address and resolve your concerns promptly.

@Dswope1348 did this ever get any quicker for you? I think I have the same issue, 8+ business days. Horrible customer service.
I have also experienced very long hold times. These services are expensive, they should do better in my opinion.
I am having the same issue. It got so bad that I am now solely using my bank to make ACH and bill payments. It's more cumbersome, but so much faster for my vendors. It was a lot faster when they were using Melio. I am not impressed with their new system.
