QB holds on payments

I'm in the same boat. What's more concerning is that after 270 days the case will be "reviewed" and the funds will be released to the state if my customer's bank cannot claim it back/request a charge back.

They do not understand that the banks don't allow charge backs if not reported withing 24hours.

Extremely frustrating

QB holds on payments

Same thing here! They won't even let me revert the payments. Which makes no sense. I can't refund the customer nor can I get the money. Talk about giving a hard time to small businesses. The last I spoke to them they said that the customer can have the bank write a letter denying the dispute and that should work. Otherwise I have a YouTube channel with over 4 million subscribers we should all start making complaints to the BBB, Attorney General, & Other Authorities of the malpractice.

[removed] keep saying operations team or risk department to the automated person, and they will put someone on the line. They've kept $31,000 of mine for 4 months now after I've sent them all the documents They've asked for. The runaround is real!

Quickbooks appears to be running a serious scam.

We need to collectively close our accounts.

QB holds on payments

Hello there, SpaceDog.

There are lots of possibilities as why funds are on hold. These includes:

  1. The payment processing exceeds the established maximum dollar amount expected on your account.
  2. The transaction is processed after several authorization attempts and failures.
  3. The transactions require verification of your business type to ensure it is compliant with the Intuit Acceptable Use Policy.
  4. When the systems identify processing patterns that pose a risk to any of the parties involved: You, your customer, or to Intuit.

When this happens, you'll receive an email with detailed instructions on what additional information needed in order to complete our review. It will take 2 business days for the review to be completed.

QB holds on payments

I am new to QB and having the same problem. My client paid me on 10/31 same day they received the invoice, my account says the payment is in review and the first 3 people I speak to are telling me it will clear in 3-5 days and they do not see the in review message.  I call back and and the SME says it's noted that they will hold the money until 11/7. The first 3 people either did not know where this screen was, or ignored it and did not want to tell me the truth. I'm a new small business and I'm not impressed. The banks can't hold your money or 8 days, where does QB get the power to do this?
