Quickbooks delaying large credit card paymnets

Has anyone else had problems with QB delaying a large credit card payment? we normally receive small credit card payments and not that often through QB. Most of our customers pay by check but we had a large job recently approximately 500K that a customer wanted to pay with a credit card and we accepted. We made this transaction last week and over the weekend I got an email from QB requesting the following:

Here's what you need to do: 1. We need some information about these transactions to get your funding back on track. For each transaction, please gather:

Customer name

Customer billing address

Customer phone number

Approximately how many times you sold products or services to this customer

Detailed descriptions of the item(s) or services purchased

Delivery method (in person, by mail, other) and proof of shipment or delivery

Copy of the signed sales receipt, invoice, or contract

Other documents we're looking for:

Contract

Invoice

Signed Sales Slip

6-12 Months Processing Statements or Bank Statements (If No IMS History)

PLEASE CALL [removed] URGENTLY REGARDING YOUR ACCT

2. Send all this info to us. Once we get everything, we'll review it. That usually takes 2 business days, but we'll email or call you if we need more time.

After talking with someone and expressing my displeasure he said he said send the customer info along with the invoices and 6 months front page of bank stamens showing the summary. We did this and today get a call saying they want 6 months complete bank statements and it will take 7-10 days for us to get paid! Why do we have to verify anything to QB to receive a payment from a customer that QB already has received???

Hi, @kbaker771.

I understand the painful process of waiting to receive a credit card payment in QuickBooks. However, to ensure you are protected from any fraudulent activities, we need to thoroughly review the transaction to keep you and your customer safe.

We usually ask for your bank information so we can establish a secure, one-way connection with your financial institution, whether it's a bank, credit union, or credit card company. Rest assured that we'll keep your information secure.

I would like to know how that protects me? You are keeping me from getting paid. for one if anyone is trying to give me money go ahead and let them give it. Two if you want to check then contact us and ask if it is legit. I'll say yes it is then give us the money. There is absolutely no reason to hold this money for 10 days! if you are protecting me, why am I sending you 6 months worth of bank statements with thousands of transaction?

Apparently their is no resolution. Now they tell me that I have to do a return on the credit card for the full amount of almost 500K because my bank statements don't prove that if the customer says it is a fraudulent charge, I will be able to repay quickbooks. So it was a lie that quickbooks was doing this to protect me. It was all about protecting quickbooks which I can understand but could do without the lies. It could all be cleared up if quickbooks called the seller and verified the purchase. My personal credit card does this for me.
