You ask for feedback on product improvement. You can improve QuickBooks 23.0 by restoring SCAN MANAGER. But I assume that it makes no difference if you get 10,000 requests to put Scan Manager back. I know there was a lot of feedback on the users' forum voicing disgust and disbelief over your stupid decision. But You are sticking with permanently disabling SCAN MANAGER regardless of negative feedback and protestations. This is F'ing outrageous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And your inane suggestion is to continue to use 2021. Brilliant
The decision to discontinue the scanner feature for attachments is absolutely ridiculous. Do the people who run Intuit even use Quickbooks to know how valuable the feature is for a Desktop user????

This mobile scan is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. First of all I pay for my own phone and don't want business items on my phone as it is against company policy. Second, like others have said I am not working in my car.
It looks like a cheap place filler to me.
I am sorry to say that what you are trying to sell the mobile phone option is complete nonsense. Why will I let my employees take pictures of company documents on their personal phones?
Many times we scan 10 to 15-page documents, which is not possible on a mobile phone. So please stop publishing such posts. (To Intuit employees)
BRING BACK SCAN MANAGER... WE NEED IT!!!!
Who wants to work off of a cell phone when they have a computer with a scanner? The cell phone app would be a nice addition but DONT REMOVE THE SCAN MANAGER!!! This is absolutley CRAZY!! Now we will have to scan outside the software, save to a file, go into QB, import the file, go back and delete the file from the computer file. ABSOLUTE MADNESS!!
I am so upset with QuickBooks Pro 2023. The scanner was a necessary for us. I have to scan 50 to 75 tickets per invoice. You are telling me to scan them on my phone and import. That is crazy. When I use the scanner on my computer it exceeds to limit to send. I have taken a gaint step back to snail mail. This is an added expense in copying and mailing and delays. I am looking for another option. I have been a QuickBooks user since 1995. This is sorry service.

Well I keep checking back to see if Intuit has heard our voices. Apparently NOT! I hate this company for discontinuing Scan Manager. It's not easy to up and switch to another company but I keep a look out for a company that can provide scanning. I just looked at Freshbook's. Not sure they offer what Quickbook's use to offer. I'll keep you updated. We need a company that hears us. Quickbook's has put in permanent earplugs. The way they handle unhappy customers is by ignoring them.
the third-party app that supported scan manager was purchased by Microsoft - probably will never be added back.
While we are still on 2021 - we are using Revver for our document management.
Just did the upgrade and no scan manager is horrific! I work from my desktop, not my phone! I now have to scan to files on my computer and go in and out of QB if I need to find the paper trail. The mobile app would be fine for a receipt here or there but not for attaching contracts or service acknowledgements or bank statements. Who wants to name and number each individual page? Not me! Thanks Intuit for making our jobs more time consuming!
