SHOPIFY INTEGRATION: If my customers purchase a $100 deposit on a $3000 item, how can I automatically generate an unpaid invoice for $2900 for each person?

Essentially, we are pre-selling inventory that isn't going to arrive for months out.

Customers can reserve their product for $100, and choose their color, spec, etc. ahead of time.

We are using Shopify to do this and it's linked to quickbooks using the Quickbooks Online by Onesaas app.

When inventory arrives I'll need to send each customer an invoice for the remaining balance of $2,900.

Is there a way to do this automatically? We have over 1000 customers and it will be very hard to do this manually and avoid duplicates.

You can create recurring transactions to automatically send a scheduled invoice.

Here's how:

Use your Gear (⚙️) icon.
Under Lists, go to Recurring Transactions.
Click New.
Choose the type of transaction and hit OK.
Enter a Template name.
Pick Scheduled as its Type. Recurring scheduled templates create a series of transactions according to your specified schedule. If you specify for them to be emailed to customers once created, they'll be recorded and emailed out without any further action.
Complete the remaining fields with their appropriate details. Be sure to set it up to where it includes unbilled charges and automatically sends emails.
Select Save.

Onesaas is not enough for your case. Consider having a 3rd party app to integrate with your QBO and Shopify with more features (e.g order management, invoicing, receive payment). It costs $109 per month for 3 mobile devices and 5 users.
