Yes, it is terrible. The QuickBooks bank account is terrible in many ways.

No. Many users have complained about the QuickBooks bank account. One of their complaints is that the accounts are closed with no notice.

I suggest staying as far away from the QuickBooks bank account as possible and instead banking with a real bank.  One that doesn't do stupid things like this.
