Receiving payments on an invoice

Hi, I have just started using Quickbooks and I created an invoice for my client to pay. I went in and chose receive payment and put in their bank information in to receive the payment as they provided authorization to do so. I see the credit to quickbooks, but it has not posted to my business account. How long does it usually take to hit my business account?

Receiving payments on an invoice

The speed of your payment deposits will depend on the product you're using and the type of payment, cfrankiec. Let me provide further information on this matter.

After your first payment, QuickBooks will usually deposit your funds within five business days. Once your merchant account is connected, payments will be deposited within two business days.

Here's how to track payments' status in QuickBooks Online (QBO):

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Go to Sales, then Deposits.
  3. Select the bank deposit you want to review.

If you encounter any issues while processing your customer payments, you'll receive an email from Intuit. If you don't see any messages from us, please check your email settings.
