Syncing issues between app and desktop version

I'm new to quickbooks and currently having syncing issues between my phone app and my desktop online version of quickbooks. 

 

All the reports are different and any changes I make on the app wont appear on the deskpot version and vice versa, almost like it's two independent accounts (which its not).

 

I have tried reinstalling the app, reconnecting bank accounts, deleting & refreshing app and phone data all to no use.

Syncing issues between app and desktop version

Hi there, @JohnD6745. I can see your interest in syncing your data between your QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app and QBO desktop version. I'm here to give you insights into your experience.

 

I want you to know that the desktop app version of QuickBooks was no longer supported and stopped updating last April 20, 2021. This is why the changes on your apps don't reflect on the desktop version and vice versa. I'm adding this material for more information: QuickBooks Online Mac and Windows Desktop App update.

 

At this time, you may log in to your account through a web browser for a better experience. Make sure to have a stable internet connection to access your data and reports seamlessly.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Prepare your browser.
  2. Open this link: http://qbo.intuit.com/.
  3. Enter your login credentials.
  4. Tap on Sign in.

 

Once your account is open, you can go to the +New icon to start tracking your entries. Or, add them directly to your register.
