Transactions

I had recently made a Gopayments account and was wondering how long the payment will take to get into my account? I did the transaction Friday and it still is not in today.

Hi @outlawhvac,

I'll provide you the details on the QuickBooks Payments' first set of deposits.

These deposits will appear within 5 business days. We're still setting up your account, which is the reason for the slight delay. Rest assured, once everything's set up, the deposits will show up faster.

Take a look at this article for more information: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments. It's a step by step guide on how you can check your deposit status.

In case you need to swap bank accounts where the QuickBooks Payments deposits go to, see this article: Change the account QuickBooks deposits payments into. The steps listed here are for QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, as well as QuickBooks Point of Sale.

Feel free to place a comment below if you have other questions. I'll be sure to get back to you.

Okay, can I still make other transactions or should I wait till the first one goes into my account?

Hello, @outlawhvac.

I'm here to share additional information about processing payments using QuickBooks GoPayments.

Yes, you can still create other transactions while waiting for your customers' payments to settle in your bank. Also, you can take cash, check, and credit card payments wherever and whenever you need to.  To help you in processing and tracking customers payments, you can browse these articles:

Feel free to get back to us here if you have other questions about using QuickBooks to manage your invoice payments and other sales transactions. I'm always here to lend a hand.
