We are thinking to transition to Bill Pay from melio and would like to hear what current users think of the service.
They will completely replace the Billpay feature powered by Melio to QuickBooks Billpay within this month.I would recommend to signup for a free Melio account as the backup option. You will find the stand alone Melio account still offer more features than QB Billpay.

Hi
I was mostly happy with QBO using Bill.com to pay our vendors. Sundenly they stopped integrating Melio and Bill.com into QBO. The QBO Bill Pay service works fine but it takes exactly 10 days for a vendor to receive an ACH payment and all my vendors are extremely upset. QBO says it should take 5 days but that's not true, it takes exactly 10 days, not one day less or more. With Bill.com it took 1-3 days. If I do it directly from my bank it will take 1-2 days. I don't get it. Someone sid somewhere they are racking in interests by keeping the money for 10 days. I still don't get it. I wish I could leave them, but I am stuck.
You can signup for a free Melio account as I mentioned earlier. You can also use their Fact Check or Fast ACH payment option.

One more message from you to say nothing
I called you support 4 times, they don't even know what I was talking about
They don't know your website says ACH payment should be received in 5 days
They don't they are received in fact in 10 days
They don't know your website says there is a fast $10 payent option,
They don't know this fast payment is in fact unavailable
and I have no proof of everything I said because we can't email you and keep a written proof
I don't even thank you for your auto AI answer, it's probably a robot who replied so fast to a complain
I'm disappointed so far with Quickbooks Bill Pay. I used to use the Melio bill pay integration and was very happy with it.
But Quickbooks kicked out Melio and replaced it with their own similar service. But here are the differences that I'm not liking:
Melio was free. QB Bill Pay is at least $15/month for 40 ACH payment, and $90/month if you need more than 40.
Melio would send my vendor the remittance details (the list of invoices paid with the payment) via email. QB Bill Pay does not, and now my vendors are all emailing me asking what the payment covers. This is a headache, and I'm going to cancel QB Bill Pay if there is no way to include the remittance info.
Luckily, we can all still use Melio bill pay for free, but you have to go to their site to make the payments, and then it syncs back to QBO.
If I'm mistaken about anything, please correct me!

You are correct and you can also get the cashback as mentioned by 4Gal.
I recognize your feedback about the QuickBooks (QB) Bill Pay and Melio Bill Pay, @SFPCbookkeeper.
Allow me to join this thread and provide additional information about bill pay services.
I know how beneficial remittance information to vendors is. Thus, this is currently unavailable in QB Bill Pay. You can send this suggestion to our Product Developers so they can review this and might consider adding this feature in future enhancements. Here's how:
Alternatively, you can utilize the Melio for free by going to their page as of now to create the payments.
Also, the details you've shared about the pricing for QB Bill Pay are accurate. For new users, we have a discounted price for ACH Payments. You can refer to this link for the plans: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/bill-pay/

You can always rely here if you need additional assistance in bill pay services. I'll be right there to help you whenever you need it.
have you been able to figure a work around for this issue. We are having same issue and QB help is useless. We have vendors saying they have not gotten our checks. We have no visibility to check in our bank or vendors. We are manually cutting checks to pay bills but paying the $15/mo for a service we do not use.

Let us know if you have any concerns related to QuickBooks. We're always here to assist you.
The only option you can take is to contact Support and hopefully you will be patient with them. Alternatively, sign up for a free Melio account and sync it with QBO to pay your bills. You can cancel checks easily from their dashboard. You can also get a $100 cashback to pay the first bill.
I just signed up for Bill pay and don't like it. I didn't use Melio before because I am a new user of QBO.
My problem with Bill pay is that it is so very slow to debit my account and send the payment. I have used other ACH methods and this one is incredibly slow. Their website says they debited the payment on the 16th but my bank doesn't show that - not even as a pending debit. They say that the payment will reach my vendor on the 23rd. I have used other methods and they only take 1 or 2 days. Since we know money only moves in the banking system M-F, why do they do these debits on a Friday? It adds at least 2 days to the whole thing. I agree that they are using these funds in some way that benefits them. Since this is my first use of bill pay it is my test. I am very disappointed and will not be using it again. I have worked out another method with my vendors that I can be more confident in.
I also don't like all the pop ups and ads on their site..
