Let me guide on how to notifications in QuickBooks Time, Nesterreg. 

 

To set a scheduled notification, please keep in mind that only admins have the permission to set company-wide schedule notifications, while team members can change their own notifications. Email notifications provide more details than mobile notifications, and you can choose more than one notification method. 

 

Additionally, you can also force send a notification by selecting a shift in the schedule and clicking on Notify in the shift editing window. All notifications are sent to team members by default, unless otherwise specified in Company Settings. 

 

To set up notifications for the entire company, follow these simple steps: 

 

  1. In QuickBooks Time on the web dashboard, go to Company Settings, then select Notifications.
  2. Make your selections, and select Save.

 

If you want to set up notifications for an individual team member, please note that this will override any company-wide settings. Here's what you need to do: 

 

  1. In QuickBooks Time on the web dashboard, select My Team.
  2. Select the team member.
  3. Select Notifications, make your selections, and select Save.

I don't think this addresses my request. What I want is a daily email that sends me the employee timesheet indicating when they clocked in and out and any notes, etc. they made in their time sheet.

Currently, setting up a report to send you an email reminder when your employees clock in and out is unavailable. However, you can set up automatic reminders for missed clock-ins and clock-outs.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Company Settings.
  2. Click the Notifications tab.
  3. In the Forgot to clock in after shift started and Forgot to clock out after shift ended, put a checkmark in either Mobile or Email.

 

We understand your need for functionality and would love to hear your thoughts by sending us feedback on your QuickBooks Time company. It enables our product developers to consider removing it in the future. I'll guide you on how to do it.

 

  1. Go to the Help? icon beside the Notifications bill.
  2. Select Suggest Idea.
  3. Enter your suggestion in the dialogue box.
  4. Hit Send Idea.
