Purchased a business Business

I purchase business recently and I am having issues changing the ownership of the QuickBooks into my name. The previous owner was not very computer savvy and had a previous employee setup the OG QuickBooks account and they named them selves the owner of the account. They are no longer with the company. What can I do?? I’ve spent several hours on the phone and submitted 2 tickets.

Also, provide the case number from your previous call so our agents can pick up where you left off. They'll guide you through the process and inform you about the information or documents required to complete the ownership change. Follow these steps to learn the various support options and methods to connect with us:

 

  1. Open your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) and head to the Help menu to select QuickBooks Desktop Help/Contact Us.
  2. Click the Contact Us button and type a brief description of your issue to select Continue.
  3. Log in to your Intuit account, and tap the Continue button to proceed.
  4. Select Continue with my account.
    • If you don't have an account, make sure to Create a new account.
  5. We'll email you a single-use code. Enter your code and select Continue.
    • If you have more than one account, choose the account you want to use and then Continue.
  6. Select to chat with us or Have us call you.

I actually got a hold of the most helpful individual I have spoken to with QB and he got it taken care of the evening

I actually got a hold of the most helpful individual I have ever spoken to with QB and he got it taken care while we were on the phone. All is good now. Just have to get the account migrated to a new computer.
